The academic year is divided into two academic periods: Fall Semester (approximately 10 September to 20 December) and the Spring Semester (approximately 7 January to 15 June). Although classes are generally given in the mornings, from 8:30 to 2:30 pm, some grade levels may have a different schedule consistingof morning tennis training and school from 12:45 to 5:50 pm. To make it compatible with tennis, the final school and sports training schedule will depend on the grade level of the
student and his/her tennis level. Extracurricular activities are organised on a regular basis during the school year, such as:
- Visists to museums and Barcelona sights.
-Mini-golf, bowling, football games, sailing, mountain biking, go-carting, rowing and skiing, cinema, etc.
- Two major events of the year are the Christmas Dinner and the Graduation and Awards Ceremony.
The Language Program offers the possibility of combining weekly, monthly and annual tennis programs with Spanish or English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses at the same location as the Academia Sánchez-Casal.

The language program is perfectly designed for athletes wishing to train in their favourite sport at the Academy while learning Spanish or English. We involve students in a process of linguistic communication and intensive practice of the four basic elements of language education: oral, comprehension, written and reading proficiency.

With a total of ten hours per week, the language courses are given in the afternoons, Monday to Friday, making them totally compatible with sport training at the Sánchez-Casal Academy. Classes can start every Monday.

Beginner students DO NOT need to take this placement test. If the student is NOT a beginner in the desired language, please have him/her do this short level test. The purpose is to determine the suitable class level. Therefore, the student should not have any outside help with the test because he/she will then be placed in a level not suitable to his/her ability. The test must be done in less than 45 minutes. Print the test and once it is completed fax it to +34-93-479-1622 or scan it and email it to adminschiller@sanchez-casal.com
