HIGH PERFORMANCE COACH DEVELOPMENT
Are you a tennis coach and do you want to improve? Or are you a tennis player who would like to become a tennis coach? At Academia Sánchez-Casal, we can train you to be a great coach.
Learn how to train in the ASC System©. Designed by Emilio Sánchez Vicario and Sergio Casal, our method is exceptional on all kinds of surface (clay, hard, and grass), for every pattern of play, and for use in competition.
Academia Sánchez-Casal, together with the Spanish Tennis Professional Registry (RPT), offers specialized programs for coaches, each with an authorized diploma from the European Registry of Tennis Professionals and the International Coaches Institute.
Coaches Programs Benefits
- Learn how to improve your players’ abilities, working across the 4 pillars of the system: technical, tactical, physical, and mental.
- You can choose the program that best suits your needs: Weekly, Monthly, or the practical Summer Exchange Program.
- You will receive a copy of the comprehensive Academy Coaching Manual, created by our world-renowned technical staff.
- After demonstrating 150 hours of practical experience and successful completion of the exams, the Academia awards the following diplomas: Coach Academia Sánchez-Casal or Assistant-Coach Academia Sánchez-Casal, both accredited by the European Registry of Tennis Professionals and the International Coaches Institute.
CHOOSE YOUR COACH PROGRAM
Weekly Coach Course:
- Ideal for those tennis professionals who want to train and observe the practical work of the famed coaching staff of Academia Sánchez-Casal.
- Available every week of the year, according to our academy professionals’ availability.
- A personal tutor from the Academy will coordinate a schedule of sessions with various professionals from the Academy. Each professional gives a lesson related to the course material.
Monthly Practical Course:
- Ideal for those tennis professionals who want to be trained and gain practical experience alongside the Sánchez-Casal Academy professional staff.
- Available from September to May.
- Course acceptance will depend on the results the candidate receives in a “tennis and coaching skills” test.
- A personal tutor from the Academy will coordinate a schedule of sessions with various professionals from the Academy. Each professional gives a lesson related to the course material.
Summer Exchange Coach Program
- Ideal for those tennis professionals who want to be trained and gain practical experience alongside the Sánchez-Casal Academy professional staff.
- 4 week Summer program.
- A personal tutor from the Academy will coordinate a schedule of sessions with various professionals from the Academy. Each professional gives a lesson related to the course material.
- The academy will select candidates for the exchange program, offering training and full board accommodation in exchange for daily coaching experience at the Academy.
